Helen has just spent a week on the Pelion Peninsula of mainland Greece staying in a small village called Horto.

This area of Greece is still very untouched by most holiday markets  making it very authentic , quiet and very relaxing.  She booked through Ionian and Aegean Island Holidays who the office love to support  and stayed at the beautiful Spalathra Seaview suites on a self catering basis .

The flights were from Leeds Bradford to Skiathos , then a half hour water taxi ride to the mainland to collect a car and 30 minutes later they were at the suites.

If you prefer the more traditional Greece and love to explore , you will not be disappointed with this area.
